The eight annual Smog Summittook place on June 7, 2007. It provided Federal, Provincial and Municipal government leaders with the opportunity to announce new initiatives that commit to reducing smog, air pollution and greenhouse gases and concluded with the signing of the Toronto and Region 2007 Inter-governmental Declaration on Clean Air( thats us posing with the yellow shirts on).

Federal and Provincial Ministers, representing key portfolios and GTA Municipal Mayors and Councillors attended the Summit. I attended with Regional Councillor Vito Spatafora and the towns manager of environmental initiatives.
